Keep the original and inspect previews

Use this for plain scans or attachments rather than files requiring signatures, bookmarks or interactive forms. Download the practice PDF: original page 1 is a cover, page 2 is an attachment deliberately rotated 90 degrees, and page 3 is a disposable practice page. Confirm all three thumbnails load.

Correct orientation and order

Rotate original page 2 clockwise three times: the added 270 degrees plus its original 90 degrees make a full turn. Check that text is upright, then move that page before the cover. Original page numbers remain fixed while current positions change. Use Move up on a phone instead of dragging.

Remove the disposable page and export

Select original page 3 and remove selected pages. The kept count should be 2. Export kept pages and download. Expect original page 2 followed by original page 1, with the attachment upright. Export selected pages is a different operation and does not include every kept page.

Recover from mistakes and understand batches

Restore page recovers a removed page. Restore original order and pages resets order, rotation and removals. Larger documents preview at most 20 pages per batch. Changing batches does not clear previous selections, and kept-page export is not limited to the visible batch. At least one page must remain.

Validate the downloaded PDF

Reopen the exported file and inspect count, order, orientation, edges and text. A failed thumbnail does not mean a blank page; do not remove it on that assumption. Closing or refreshing loses the editing state. Keep the original until the output is verified.
