Guide and worked example

Organize scanned pages, contract attachments or expense documents into a new PDF. Thumbnails help identify pages before removing them. This tool does not edit text on a page.

  1. Choose one PDF and wait for the current batch of up to 20 thumbnails.
  2. Select pages for batch rotation or removal. Drag cards or use Move up/down to reorder.
  3. Check the kept-page count. Export kept pages includes all pages not removed; export selected includes only checked, kept pages.
  4. Export, then download and inspect every page in a PDF reader before submitting.

Worked example

Use a three-page PDF: a cover, an attachment and an unwanted blank page. Select original page 3 and remove it, then move original page 2 up. Export kept pages: expect two pages ordered original 2, then original 1. Restore page undoes a removal; Restore original order and pages resets the arrangement.

Limitations and checks

One file, up to 20 MiB and 500 pages. Encrypted, password-protected and interactive-form PDFs are unsupported. Digital signatures, bookmarks and complex interactions may not be preserved. Validate the downloaded PDF in a reader.

Why are pages missing from the export?

Check whether you exported selected pages only or marked pages as removed. Choose Export kept pages for every page not removed.

How do I reorder on a phone?

Use Move up/down on each card. Batches limit the preview, not the scope of the kept-page export.

What if thumbnails fail?

Retry batch thumbnails or use a smaller, plain PDF. Complex files may need more memory. A failed thumbnail does not mean the page is blank.
